About Us
We are Ali and Jeff Pegrum and have both loved Exmoor for very many years. We were introduced to Stockham Farm in the spring of 2016 and immediately fell in love with it. The farm is in the most incredible setting with sensational views over the Exe Valley and beyond. We moved here later that year and, having decided to make this our home and our business, we set to work with its refurbishment. Our plan was to create two luxury self catering holiday cottages here in the heart of the Exmoor National Park.
Our Cottages
There are two holiday cottages at Stockham Farm to choose from. The Victorian Wing of the farmhouse sleeps four in two bedrooms and The Piggery sleeps 6 in three bedrooms. Both are situated on the farm, in a truly stunning Exmoor setting. They both have beautiful, sympathetic decor, panoramic views and tranquility guaranteed. Each cottage has its own private garden area with tables, chairs, loungers and BBQs. Our guests are also welcome to explore the farm’s 35 acres, where they will find horses, Exmoor Horn sheep and abundant wildlife, including rare Red Deer which come right up to the pond to drink on summer evenings.
The Setting
Stockham Farm is just over a mile up into the hills above the pretty Exmoor market town of Dulverton. It has easy access to the open moorland and wooded valleys of Exmoor National Park. The location is perfect for dog-friendly holidays, horse-friendly holidays and walking holidays too.
Dulverton, Exmoor
Dulverton is a charming small town, full of friendly independent shops, and affectionately known as the Southern Gateway to Exmoor. To learn more about our lovely market town, take a look at the Visit Dulverton website.
In 2021 we were proud to win two major accolades in the Bristol, Bath & Somerset Tourism Awards – the Bronze award for the Best Self Catering Accommodation and the Silver award for the Best New Tourism Business.
