Welcome to Award-Winning Stockham Farm Exmoor
Welcome to Stockham Farm with our two luxury self catering holiday cottages. The 18th Century farm is located in the heart of the Exmoor National Park, yet only just over a mile from the charming small town of Dulverton, the Southern Gateway to Exmoor.
You will find us in a truly tranquil location atop a hill with sensational panoramic views in all directions. Over recent years, the farm has been renovated and refurbished to an extremely high standard, and we are delighted to welcome guests who wish to bring their dogs and horses to this picturesque corner of the South West of England.
The farmhouse (formerly three cottages many years ago) now offers the Victorian Wing as a completely self-contained cottage, which sleeps four people in spacious comfort. Just 60 metres from the farmhouse you will find The Piggery – a beautifully and sympathetically converted Exmoor stone barn which sleeps six in three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Both properties give guests the dedicated use of their own garden space within the farm’s 35 acres.
Nature, wildlife and sustainability are at the heart of a stay at Stockham Farm. Take a moment to enjoy this video below of a herd of Red Deer visiting the farm in April 2026 – they’re just below the farmhouse pond in the River Exe valley.
Award-Winning Stockham Farm
In 2021 we were hugely proud to win two major accolades in the Bristol, Bath & Somerset Tourism Awards… the Silver Award for the New Tourism Business and the Bronze Award for the Best Self Catering Accommodation of the Year. See our certificates and trophies below!
Our Cottages
The Victorian Wing
The Victorian Wing is the beautifully refurbished and spacious wing of a traditional period Exmoor farmhouse. Completely self-contained, the cottage has the grand farmhouse front door that leads into the large sitting-room. This warm, welcoming and characterful room boasts underfloor heating, wood-burning stove, comfy chairs, a huge sofa, bookcases, board games and a smart TV.
The Piggery
The Piggery is a former traditional stone barn, housing many animals (not just pigs!). Now converted into accommodation, the cottage boasts three large bedrooms, large sitting/dining room, underfloor heating, comfy sofas, a gas wood burning stove, a smart TV and books to enjoy. The recent renovation has maintained all the original features, with oak beams and quirky elements in every room.
