Luxury Self Catering Holiday Cottages on Exmoor

Welcome to Stockham Farm Exmoor

Welcome to Stockham Farm, with its two luxury horse and dog friendly self-catering holiday cottages in the heart of the Exmoor National Park. You will find Stockham atop a hill with panoramic views in all directions – including to Dunkery Beacon, Exmoor’s glorious highest point. Wind along the tree-lined drive with paddocks either side (yes, you really can bring your horse to stay if you’d like, we have plenty of luxury stabling too!) and arrive at a beautiful, traditional Exmoor farmhouse. Stockham Farm is located less than a mile and a half from the charming small town of Dulverton, Somerset on the border with Devon. We are also pleased to offer bed and breakfast accommodation at Stockham Farm at certain times of the year - please enquire at the time of booking if you would like breakfast served in the farmhouse dining room.

During these difficult and unprecedented times we are pleased to be able to welcome guests to this remote and idyllic spot where social distancing is not a problem.  We offer full refunds to all bookings that are booked directly with us via our website if a cancellation is directly linked to COVID-19.  We are proud to have been accredited with the Visit England 'Good To Go' 2020 recognition (see the logo below), affirming that we are following Government and Industry strict sanitising and social distancing COVID-19 guidelines. Our COVID protocols are available to view upon request.

We shall soon be adding an availability calendar to this website, but in the meantime either get in touch via stockhamfarm@gmail.com or visit the following pages for up to date availability: The Piggery at Stockham Farm Availability and The Victorian Wing at Stockham Farm Availability

Over the past three years, the whole of Stockham Farm has been renovated and refurbished to an extremely high standard, and the farmhouse (formerly three cottages many years ago) now offers the Victorian Wing as a completely self-contained cottage, which sleeps four people in spacious comfort with all possible mod cons and its own porch and front door.

Just 80 metres from the farmhouse you will find the Piggery - a beautifully and sympathetically converted Exmoor stone barn which sleeps six in three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

Both properties give guests the dedicated use of their own garden space (within the farm's 35 acres!) and BBQs too. The Victorian Wing has the sole use of a delightful orchard to the side of the cottage with a table, chairs and deckchairs, and the Piggery has its own private courtyard garden with table seating and panoramic views.

Get in touch via stockhamfarm@gmail.com to book either or both properties together!

We are also excited have recently been awarded accreditation as an official Dark Sy Friendly Business on Exmoor - did you know that Exmoor National Park was the first recognised International Dark Sky Reserve in Europe and is still regarded as the best place to stargaze in the UK?  At Stockham Farm we have special extras to offer our stargazing guests!  Visit the Exmoor National Park Stargazing page to learn more.

During these extremely difficult and unprecedented times, we had of course put a hold on welcoming visitors to stay at Stockham Farm.  However, now that the Government has eased the COVID-19 travel restrictions from 4th July, we are taking bookings from that time, with the reassurance that if you are not allowed to visit us because of any renewed COVID-related travel restrictions, then we shall refund the booking fee.

We are proud to have been accredited with the Visit England ‘Good To Go’ 2020 recognition (see the logo below), affirming that we have followed Government and Industry COVID-19 guidelines, ensuring processes are in place to maintain deep cleanliness and aid social distancing at Stockham Farm.
