My partner and I wanted a week’s staycation and thought Exmoor would be the perfect place to go for long walks and cosy pubs. It absolutely exceeded our expectations in every way. The hosts, Ali and Jeff, were extremely friendly and gave us townies some great advice for local walks and places to visit. As soon as we arrived to a bottle of wine and a locally made cake, we knew this was the place for us! Waking up in the morning to pheasants and deer running around the grounds was magical. If you want breathtaking views, spotlessly clean accommodation and warm hosts this is the place for you. We will definitely be returning this winter with our dog to go on some snowy walks.

I had a lovely long weekend at Stockham Farm. It’s in an excellent location with gorgeous views of Exmoor, yet only a few minutes from the centre of Dulverton (which has great restaurants, shops and pubs). The accommodation is beautifully furnished, dog-friendly and extremely comfortable. After a hectic week it was the perfect place to recover and to explore the local area. I hope to be able to come and stay again soon.

  • Mr and Mrs Chris B + Dennis - July 2018

A magical space in a very special place! A haven of peace and tranquility hidden away on the edge of Exmoor. Well done Jeff and Ali for creating such a wonderful holiday experience! We will be back sometime soon. Dennis (the dog) felt very relaxed here!

  • Mrs Karen P – July 2018

Lovely accommodation set in a very peaceful and tranquil position. Both bedrooms are very comfortable and beautifully decorated. They have views over the gardens and paddocks. The kitchen/diner is large and airy. Very well equipped with everything you could need. The lounge is very welcoming with comfy sofas and a lovely inglenook fireplace with a woodburner stove. There is a lovely garden with plenty of chairs to relax in. The owners are very knowledgeable about the area and suggested quite a few places to visit. We had a great bbq with them on our last night. We were made to feel very welcome and would return for a longer visit next time.
